Guest Rider Consent Form

 

The only passengers to ride a Chinook School bus are students who attend a Chinook School and ordinarily ride the bus. To assist with unforeseen circumstances, occasionally the Division will allow for Guest Ridership if Chinook Administrative Procedure(AP) 560 is followed and a Guest Rider Consent Form is submitted to the school administration. Requests for approval should be submitted with as much notice as possible. Herbert School population has been increasing year after year since 2021.  Currently our student population is 218.  As our school and classrooms fill up so do our buses.  Many of our buses are operating at or very close to maximum capacity. School administration reserves the right to deny requests if adequate notice is not provided, if there are not enough seats available on the bus, or if the pick-up or drop-off point is not a regularly scheduled stop on the route. It is also expected that the guest rider follows the rules of the bus. Please contact your  school administration if you have any questions about Guest Ridership.
